Before you buy
It expires
Valid for 12 months from the first day it can be used. You choose that day at checkout.
Unused value is not refunded
After the expiry date the voucher has no value, and it cannot be taken as cash. Birthday Steak keeps the unused value.
A pub is not paid for an expired unused voucher
The venue is paid when the voucher is redeemed. Birthday Steak keeps that unused value. If the bill is higher, the guest pays the difference.

Using it
Register
They confirm the email it was sent to. A pub cannot redeem the code until then.
Book
They contact the venue on the voucher and book in the normal way.

Staff check it, take the value off the bill, and redeem it once.
