1. About Birthday Steak

Birthday Steak ("we", "us", "our") is an experience gifting service that sells dining vouchers redeemable at our partner venues across South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of our products.

2. Voucher Terms

• Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Vouchers are valid at the specific venue stated on the voucher only.
• Vouchers may be used against any item on the menu — food, drinks, starters, desserts.
• Where the bill exceeds the voucher value, the difference must be paid directly to the venue.
• Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Vouchers are non-transferable once issued.
• Each voucher may only be redeemed once.
• Expired or fully redeemed vouchers have no monetary value.

3. Purchasing

All voucher purchases are made through our website. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

4. Delivery

Vouchers are delivered electronically to the email address provided at the time of purchase. We accept no responsibility for vouchers sent to an incorrect email address provided by the buyer. Scheduled delivery times are indicative — we do not guarantee exact delivery times.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products, vouchers are non-refundable once delivered to the recipient. If a voucher has been purchased but not yet delivered (e.g. scheduled for future delivery), please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible and we will do our best to assist.

6. Partner Venues

Birthday Steak acts as a voucher issuer and is not responsible for the food, service, or experience provided by partner venues. Any complaints regarding the dining experience should be directed to the venue in question. We reserve the right to add or remove partner venues without notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Birthday Steak shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our vouchers or services.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
