Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember state (such as a checkout session) and keep you logged in where needed. Similar technologies include local storage used by our payment and authentication providers.

Our approach

Birthday Steak does not use advertising or analytics cookies for tracking you across the web. We rely on strictly necessary cookies and similar storage required for checkout (Stripe), partner sign-in (Supabase), and basic site operation.

Cookies and similar storage you may encounter

Name / area Purpose Typical duration
Stripe Checkout Maintains your checkout session and fraud signals while you pay. Set by Stripe when you enter checkout. Session / short-lived
Supabase Auth Session tokens for the partner redemption portal (sb-* cookies or local storage, depending on configuration). As set by Supabase (often hours)
Cloudflare Security, performance, and bot management as operated by our host. Per Cloudflare policy

Exact cookie names can change when our processors update their SDKs. For Stripe and Supabase details, see their respective privacy and cookie documentation.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent checkout or partner login from working. Because we do not run optional marketing cookies, we do not offer a separate “reject all non-essential” banner — everything we set is needed for functionality you requested.
